Honea Path – James Clifton Bratcher, 77, husband of Sue Gillespie Bratcher of 109 Oakwood Drive died Monday, August 21, 2006.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late Cliff and Rosetta McClain Bratcher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired from RJR Mechanical of Spartanburg. He had worked for Frankie Major for the past 8 years.

Surviving are his wife of the home, one son, Mark Campbell of Ft. Polk, LA, three daughters, Brenda Reeves of Honea Path, Kathy Short of Honea Path, and Peggy Kelley of Anderson, one brother Alfred Bratcher of Marietta , two sisters, Joyce Gillespie of Easley and Grace Hanley of Taylors, ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Thursday at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The family is at the home of a daughter, Brenda Reeves, 106 Elizabeth St., Honea Path.
